☀️ What an amazing week we've had at Golden Manor! ☀️

All of the children have had the best time enjoying the beautiful sunshine. There were lots of smiles and laughter as everyone splashed around in the swimming pools and had endless fun on the slip and slide! 💦🌈

We also loved getting out and exploring our local community. The children enjoyed visits to the castle 🏰 and the park 🌳, making wonderful memories with their friends along the way.

It's been a fantastic week filled with sunshine, adventure, fun, and lots of happy faces. We can't wait to see what next week brings! ☀️😊

🌿✨ Our 2-year-olds loved exploring this magical woodland tuff tray in our large private outdoor area today!

Through imaginative play, sensory exploration, and discovering natural materials, the children were developing curiosity, creativity, confidence, and communication skills. 🍄🧚‍♀️🌼

Linked to the Curriculum for Wales, outdoor experiences like these help children become ambitious, capable learners and healthy, confident individuals through play and exploration. 💚

Today at Golden Manor, our children celebrated the 100th birthday of Sir David Attenborough — a man who has inspired generations to love, respect, and protect the natural world. 🌿🌎

With our wonderful 2.2 acres of land to explore, the children spent time outdoors appreciating nature, discovering wildlife, and enjoying the freedom to learn through the world around them — something Sir David has encouraged throughout his incredible life.

Watching the children explore with such curiosity and excitement felt like the perfect way to honour his legacy.

Happy 100th birthday, Sir David Attenborough. Thank you for inspiring young minds to care for our planet and all the beauty within it. 💚

WOW—what a fantastic day Woodlands Playroom had! 🌿✨

Our trip to the local park for a picnic was full of smiles, laughter, and joyful moments. The children loved exploring, playing together, and feeling part of our wonderful community 🧺💛

As part of our Transport theme, the children in our ABC room enjoyed a train trip to Pembroke Dock and a visit to the park. They were full of excitement as they boarded the train and chatted about what they could see out of the windows. The children had a brilliant time climbing, sliding, running and exploring the equipment at the park. Todays trip links to the Welsh Curriculum and Four Purposes by developing the children to become:

Ambitious, capable learners: Observing their surroundings, asking questions, making real‑world connections.

Enterprising, creative contributors: Using imagination and exploring equipment in different ways.

Ethical, informed citizens: Practising safe behaviour, respecting public spaces, showing kindness.

Healthy, confident individuals: Building confidence on public transport and developing physical skills outdoors.

Our holiday club children have had the BEST day today! 🚂✨

We hopped on the train to beautiful Tenby, where the children enjoyed a visit to the lifeboat station and a fun-filled time at the park. 🌊🌳

A huge thank you to Tenby Lifeboat for supporting our visit and sharing such engaging and fascinating knowledge with the children – they absolutely loved it! 🚤🛟❤️

What an unforgettable day full of learning, laughter and adventure! 😊
