💦 Penrhyn’s Swimming Gala 💦
We had a fantastic afternoon on Wednesday at our school swimming gala.
Pupils from Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 demonstrated everything they had learnt from their swimming lessons this school year .
Some great races took place in front crawl, back stroke , breast stroke & relay .
A huge well done to every single pupil for taking part and giving it their all.
We are very proud of you all!
Well done to the overall winning house team - Broad Haven , for walking away with the shield !

On Friday, the children in class 2 enjoyed a wonderful visit to a local orchard and apple juice factory. During their trip, they learned about the important role bees play in pollinating apple trees and helping fruit to grow. The children were fascinated to see the bee hives and hear about the journey from pollination to apple production.
After exploring the orchard, the children visited the factory where they discovered how apples are transformed into delicious apple juice. They had the opportunity to sample a variety of apple juices and learn about the different flavours produced.
The children were especially excited to learn that the apple juice made at the factory is also available to purchase from our honesty shed.
This experience linked beautifully with our recent learning about bees. The children have been exploring the differences between bumblebees and honeybees and developing their understanding of the vital role these insects play in our environment and food production.

Huge well done to Kian Fisher in Year 6 being selected to play for Haverfordwest County AFC Academy !
Kian had some big decisions to make
because of his age he had to choose between grassroots football and academy. Then an even bigger decision, he had the choice to play for Llanelli Academy , Carmarthen Academy or Haverfordwest County.
Kian decided to support his local academy.
He had his first training session last Thursday evening , then a couple of games on Saturday against Swansea and Briton Ferry where he bagged himself a goal..
Well done Kian ! ⚽️
