📣Summer Holiday Maths Tuition based in Pembroke. 😊☀️

I have spaces available during the summer holiday and am looking forward to helping children prepare for moving year group or to a new school.

Please get in touch if you think your child would benefit from some extra support or a confidence boost with their maths!

Sessions are hands on and interactive, providing practical strategies to take back to the classroom in September. ☺️

We discovered this week that you're never too old to " play shops" with the cash register! ☺️💷

What fun we've had understanding decimals, reading money totals on the till, finding percentages and decreasing prices!

Many children can find these abstract topics challenging but " brought to life" their understanding and confidence flourishes...whatever their age!👏🌟

Christmas Create & Calculate! 🎄

Always a favourite activity and a great way to revise times tables, mental maths, fractions and percentages!

" I can simplify these fractions Lisa!" was music 🎶 to my ears!👏☺️🎄🎅

BLACK FRIDAY 💷 deals are a great opportunity to work on percentages % and fractions!☺️

Good luck grabbing some bargains everyone!

Thanks to Maths Corner for these lovely challenge cards!

"Algebra isn't as hard as I thought Lisa!" 🤔👏
Best quote of the day!

"Can we try some for you to solve?" ☺️✏️

Back to school could only mean 1 thing, label everything 😂
These personalised book and homework folders are great, available in Welsh or English 📚

Lots of interesting conversations and maths activities this week just from playing an old favourite...Top Trumps!
Many children will be starting this new term learning about place value, reading and recognising numbers, ordering and finding totals. Hands on activities are great for consolidating these skills and they're fun too!
Which set was your favourite? 🤔☺️
