Many children can find these abstract topics challenging but " brought to life" their understanding and confidence flourishes...whatever their age!👏🌟

Lots of interesting conversations and maths activities this week just from playing an old favourite...Top Trumps!
Many children will be starting this new term learning about place value, reading and recognising numbers, ordering and finding totals. Hands on activities are great for consolidating these skills and they're fun too!

📢Diary open for holiday tuition!

I have spaces available during the holiday and am looking forward to helping children prepare for moving year group or to a new school.

Please get in touch if you think your child would benefit from some extra support or a confidence boost with tricky topics. Maybe they are moving to year 7 and would like to revise their maths skills?

Sessions are hands on and interactive, providing practical strategies to take back to the classroom in September. ☺️

Autumn term 2 is upon us! 🍁🍂
The weeks are passing quickly but there's been lots of time to enjoy our practical games and hands on activities to build our confidence and understanding. ☺️
