Bunnies, bugs and beasties, developed and owned by Sarah Parkinson, provides educational talks and animal handling experiences to Pre School and Primary school aged children;introducing the fascinating world of animals and insects in a fun, interactive and educational way. Sarah uses songs, rhymes and stories for younger children and props and resources for older children to provide a relaxed, non

pressured environment and by keeping group sizes small the children have time to handle the animals and ask questions. Bunnies, bugs and beasties also visits care homes where residents enjoy cuddling the soft fur of the rabbits and guinea pigs as well as meeting the snakes, spiders and other exotic creatures. Bunnies, bugs and beasties holds an Animal Activity Licence granted by Herefordshire Council. Licence number: N-PERF10.

After 12 years, today is our last day of visiting settings. There are various reasons for finishing, covid still affecting care homes, the cost of living affecting activity budgets across settings and the extortionate cost of renewing the animal activity licence to name a few. I would like to thank everyone for their support over the last 12 years. But don't worry, the animals are staying put and have a few retirement plans in mind...
