My name is Leanne and I am a mother of 2 children , aged 11 and 4 .

Children have always been my passion. Over the past 11 years I have spent my time caring for not only my own children but my nephews and nieces from young ages on a daily basis. I currently work part time in a school but during the uncertainty of the past 2 years and lockdowns I realised more and more that I needed to pursue my dreams and my passion to become a full time childminder. I am Passio

and am currently working towards my paediatric first aid

Little deer's childminding offers a safe, fun and exciting family environment where children will engage in lots of fun learning opportunities. Following early years guidelines and the 7 areas of learning . We will make learning lots of fun and encourage children to reach their full potential along the way. We are situated in a village full of beautiful green spaces to enjoy exploring whist actively learning about the world around us. We strive to have a wide range of resources both indoors and outdoors and will frequently visit local parks, the library and toddler groups and other family friendly attractions. We are open between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday (but flexibility can be discussed if needed)
Healthy snacks and drinks will be provided within the hourly fees

Today we visited Little P's Play Town where they were hosting a Lucky Parties magic show.
The children had a wonderful time in the playtown before the big show.
We had party games, balloon modelling,a mini disco & of course a fabulous magic show 🪄🎩

What a great way to start to the 6 weeks holidays! Myself and the children love a nature scavenger hunt we always have the best time exploring the nature reserve.
We had a great time finding all the things on our hunt, fed the ducks, observed lots of nature's creatures and finished it all off with a trip to the park 😀

The children have had great fun learning all about butterflies and their lifecycles. We have made our own butterfly wings, observed the metamorphosis of caterpillars into butterflies up close & cared for them before releasing them into the big wide world. We baked some yummy butterfly cakes and made some butterfly houses for the children to put in their own gardens alongside some other wonderful learning opportunities.

When we heard this morning that dudley zoo had an offer on to celebrate Sir David Attenboroughs 100th birthday we dropped all our plans packed a picnic & set off for a lovely day of fun, facts and furry friends.

Our topic at the moment is minibeasts! Today we have been on a minibeast hunt around the local nature reserve. We lifted rocks and logs to find all sorts of minibeasts, the children used their magnifying glasses to see them all up close. We were also lucky enough to see the new little goslings on the lake
