What a blast we’ve had today at our Vocal Technique: Songs from Mamma Mia! Workshop! 💙✨

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful attendees — you sang brilliantly and worked so hard throughout the morning. It was fantastic to see everyone getting stuck in and putting the techniques into practice! 🎶

Unfortunately, Elise couldn’t be with us today due to illness, but she has been working hard behind the scenes alongside me to plan and prepare the workshop. We definitely missed having her there and hope she’s feeling better soon! 💙

And finally, a very special thank you to my wife, Katie Louise, for helping out today. I really couldn’t have done it without you! ❤️

I recently had the pleasure of creating a custom backing track of “You Make Me Feel (Like a Natural Woman)” from Beautiful: The Carole King Musical for Anthem Voices’ 10th Anniversary Concert.

First off…WOW 🤩 What a concert! ⭐️
And…watching the track come to life on stage, performed by the fantastic soloist and backing singers, was a real full-circle moment. There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing a project you’ve worked on become part of a live performance and it was a privilege to contribute to Anthem Voices special celebration!

I’m so pleased to share my ABRSM Piano results this term. Especially my two Grade 5 Piano student's results!

Grade 5 is a real milestone in a pianist’s journey and I’m incredibly proud of these students for all their hard work, dedication, and commitment. They have all done brilliantly to achieve a pass in what is a challenging and rewarding exam.

Now it's on to ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory, while also taking some time to simply enjoy playing the piano without the pressure of working towards the next practical exam. Developing musicianship and a love of music is just as important as collecting certificates!

A huge congratulations to you all – you should be very proud of what you've achieved. 🎉🎹

I'm delighted to announce the release of my new arrangement of "I've Written a Letter to Daddy" – the hauntingly memorable song made famous by Bette Davis in the 1962 psychological thriller Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?

This timeless classic, written by Frank De Vol with lyrics by Bob Merrill, has remained an iconic piece of film music and has also featured in other productions, including House of Wax (2005).
