⚠️⚠️⚠️PEEBLES HIGH STREET CLOSED ⚠️ ⚠️⚠️

Peebles High Street is completely closed to all traffic and pedestrians this morning due to an ongoing incident. Emergency services are on the scene, and there is currently no access through.
Please plan ahead and use alternative routes to avoid major delays:
• 🚗 Drivers: All through-traffic must divert around the town center. Expect heavy congestion on surrounding local roads.

• 🚌 Public Transport: Buses, including the X62 service, are actively diverting away from Eastgate and Northgate.

• 🚶 Pedestrians: access is being maintained - you can get along the Eastgate (north side) and the junction at Costa is open to walk through to the High Street. The taped-off area is around the bank.
