Rosetta Early Learners Welcome to Rosetta! We are a small, friendly organisation, which has been providing sessional early learning and childcare for over 40 years.

Rosetta Early Learners operates from premises attached to Halyrude Primary School and caters for children 2 1/2-5 years of age and, in partnership with Scottish Borders Council, provides Early Years Curriculum for Excellence within a playgroup setting. We are a parent-run organisation - as a parent, guardian or carer of children attending Rosetta, you automatically become a member. The management committee is elected each year from members. On a termly basis elected office bearers only attend committee meetings. Open meetings are held, also on a termly basis, to which everyone is invited. All our staff undertake relevant training courses and share the desire to provide the highest possible quality of care. All employees at Rosetta are aware of Child Protection issues and follow local area child protection procedures. We want the best for our children and we put a lot of work into making sure that the care we provide is safe, supporting, stimulating, educative and, above all, fun. A lovely two days with so lovely folk.

Massage in Schools Instructor Training! Had a fabulous two days in the Borders working with 20 wonderful people wishing to bring nurturing touch to children and families across various parts of the UK! We had attendees from Midlothian, West Dunbartonshire, Wales and the Scottish Borders Council! Thank you all for investing your time in the programme. Good luck and keep in touch!

Last week we represented our nursery in the community by entering the Peebles Flower Show.
The children loved the opportunity to take part and express themselves in some of the categories.
We were chuffed to even win a few prizes!

We have had a great few days back at Rosetta.
The children are settling in well and the staff are enjoying getting to know the newbies and hearing all about our returners summer breaks.

Thank you to Peebles Burgh Silver Band for the mention.
We are ready to join when you need us!!
Super proud of some of our littles and their parents for an excellent fancy dress turn out.

🎭 Beltane Fancy Dress ☑️

Another fantastic Fancy Dress Friday with lots of amazing entries on display throughout the town. Our favourite has to be the Rosetta Early Learners “Silver Band” – a brilliant effort that certainly brought a smile to our faces! ❤️🤍

We were also joined on the march by our Crowning Lady and super sop, Donna Hamilton, before she nipped off home for an early night. We hear she’s got something rather important to do tomorrow… 👑😉

Of course, no Fancy Dress Friday would be complete without ‘the boogie’ on the High Street! It was great to hear everyone singing along, and we hope it brings the Scotland National Team some luck tonight! If you’ve got any videos pop them in the chat below. 🎶🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

See you all bright and breezy by the Mercat Cross tomorrow morning as we kick off Red Letter Day!

❤️🤍🎺

We were delighted to attend a showing of You Choose today at the Eastgate Theatre with our friends from Kingsland Primary School nursery and Priorsford Parents nursery.
The trip was made possible with a kind donation from Peebles & District Round Table.
What a fantastic show, the children and adults all loved it.
