Good afternoon.
Another beautiful day ☀️☄️
Well this doesn’t happen very often ! All of the weekend work due in is in early or have asked to drop off on Monday and the remaining pick ups are all for next week 🤷‍♂️
I’m going to have a Saturday morning off 😉 Be nice to sit out in this instead of sweating in the shed by 11am 😅
The phone will divert to my mobile until the normal Sat finish time of 11am.

Good Afternoon All

I hope the Holiday season has you in full chill out mode ?
I thought i would just remind you that as we continue to be busy throughout the year, it might be worth considering getting your Caravan or Motorhome booked in for your return. Remember to check those dates regarding warranty, there are changes to the before/after purchase date parameters as the `van/m-home gets older. I wouldn`t want you having to foot a bill that could have been avoided !!
The access road re-surface was completed a couple of weeks ago, so its a lovely drive up to see us 😉
A quick word about those extreme temperatures in the last week or so. You are probably aware that if you have a 3way fridge (gas/230v/12v travelling) these are Absorbtion fridges and rely on a chemical reaction when heated to allow them to cool down. If the weather gets hot, especially if your vents are on the awning side, your fridge may not function as it should, this is not a fault, wait until it cools down a bit outside and things should return to normal.
That`s "tip for the week" done 😄

New road surface is complete. 👍
Much smoother journey up the hill now. There are still 2 “channels” cut across on the way up so the rain doesn’t wash it all away 😳🌦️ As it is all nice and new they are a bit like speed bumps just now, don’t stop on the way up just go over steadily and you will keep the momentum going and prevent any wheel spin 😉 Listen to me telling all you experienced Caravaners how to drive up a hill, the cheek eh !!!
Likewise Motorhomes, slow and steady.

Keep the bookings coming, diary constantly getting topped up so get in touch to get the date you prefer 👍

I haven’t forgotten about everyone, just been super busy and Social Media hasn’t been on my mind !
Anyway, as the touring season progresses we continue to be busy busy in the workshop, for that, thank you all very much.
I have come on tonight to make everyone aware that the road improvements up to and beyond the workshop have been continuing over the last few months. They started at the top and have been working downwards. Tomorrow some remedial works are taking place around the workshop area, so we ask that you don’t “pop in for a visit” over the next couple of days. There should be no interruptions for any drop offs or collections but I will of course be in touch if that needs to change a wee bit 🤔
I will update as things move forward.
Some warmer days in the forecast, hopefully they continue as Summer approaches.

I thought I’d give you a wee bit info.
If any of you are heading to the caravan / motorhome and holiday home show in Glasgow over the weekend or have been already. I think it would be worth having a chat if you buy a Caravan or Motorhome, regarding servicing. We get customers who are unaware of their responsibility regarding warranty upkeep and the possibility of the unit having to go back to dealer you purchased from to have it dealt with. I realise that’s not the end of the world but it can be real hassle for you.
It would be the longest post in the history of social media if I went in to detail, but please feel free to get in touch if you would like me to elaborate or just have a chat about it.

Good morning
Another lovely weekend weather wise, NOT !!
Just a message to say the works are recommencing on the road up to the workshop and beyond, from Monday.
On Monday some large machinery is expected to arrive so please don’t attempt to come up that day “for a visit” 😉
The works will be starting at the top and working down past us to the bottom of the hill. I will let anyone know who is due to come in over the next while if it is okay access wise on the day you are due. I’ll give as much notice as possible if we have to change your drop off day, hopefully not 👍

Currently in to May for bookings so don’t delay if you want to get in the diary 👍
