The past few weekends our team has completed a blended First Aid course with Modren Training. Steven provided two great sessions to help prepare staff to respond promptly and appropriately to keep the children in our care safe.
Staff first completed 6 hours online watching videos, reading the information and completing quizzes before taking part in a further 6 hours of practical training.

The Ladybird room have been exploring emotions and fine motor skills using different colored resources to transport while talking about what emotion the colours and faces represent. The children shared experiences of what makes them feel happy, sad, excited, angry and calm.

Our pre school garden provides opportunities for lots of outdoor learning. 🍃
In the bark area is a mud kitchen for children where they can be creative cooking and mixing as they role play. There is also a Wendy house for the children to explore.
We have an outdoor classroom as well as a sheltered area so the children have access to shelter in all weathers. There is equipment to support gross motor skills such as a climbing dome, balance beams and our big wooden train. We do activities outdoors and set up areas to support children’s learning and development.
