🚦 Road Safety Awareness 🚦Part 2

On Wednesday, the children at Talbot View Pre-School enjoyed a road safety session delivered by BCP Transport Services.

The children learned about staying safe near roads, the importance of holding hands with an adult, using pedestrian crossings, and stopping, look, listen and think before crossing safely.

Learning about road safety from an early age helps children develop important skills and awareness that will keep them safe as they grow.

A big thank you to BCP Transport Services for providing such an engaging and informative session for our children😊

🚦 Road Safety Awareness 🚦

On Wednesday, the children at Talbot View Pre-School enjoyed a road safety session delivered by BCP Transport Services.

The children enjoyed spreading the sauce, sprinkling the cheese, and choosing from a variety of tasty toppings to create their unique pizzas. There were lots of smiles, excitement, and conversations as they explored different ingredients and proudly made their own delicious creations.

Activities like this are a fantastic way to encourage independence, creativity, fine motor skills, and confidence while also introducing healthy eating and trying new foods. The best part of all was sitting together to taste their homemade pizzas they were absolutely delicious😋

Well done to all of our little chefs today for their fantastic effort and amazing pizza making skills.

Cooking 🧁👩‍🍳👨‍🍳
The children enjoyed helping to mix the ingredients, pour the mixture into the cake cases, and watch their cakes bake. There was lots of excitement as everyone took turns and worked together carefully.

Once the cakes were ready, the children had lots of fun decorating them and of course taking their delicious creations home afterwards😋

Baking activities are a wonderful way to encourage turn taking, listening skills, fine motor development, and confidence while also making learning fun and engaging.

animals 🐄🐖🐑🐓

As part of this week activities, we enjoyed reading the much loved story together. The children loved joining in with the repetitive phrases, talking about the different animals in the story and sharing lots of laughter along the way. 📚✨

We also had lots of fun getting creative and making our very own inflatable chickens 🐔 The children really enjoyed decorating them, watching them inflate, and proudly showing off their wonderful creations to their friends.

Activities like these help to encourage imagination, creativity, listening skills, and confidence while making learning exciting and engaging for the children. We have had such a fantastic week exploring life on the farm and learning more about different animals.

Well done to all of our little learners for their amazing participation and creativity this week.

🛒🌸May half term holiday supermarket vouchers for pre-school age children - apply now!

BCP Council Family Information Service can provide a £15 food voucher for eligible pre-school age children living in Bournemouth, Christchurch or Poole.

📌Vouchers for school aged children are issued directly by the school.
📌 Apply now up until 11pm on Monday 1 June 2026.

To help keep everyone safe in the sun, please provide a clearly labelled bottle of suncream for your child. We will apply it throughout the day as needed.
