Today is the day of the midwife.
And as I always say on this day….
Being a midwife is an honour, it’s my honour.
Holding a woman's hand in her moment of greatness or in her moment of fear is a responsibility like no other. Helping her embark on the most life changing event of her life & empower her to listen & believe in herself is my privilege.
Knowing when to be silent with her or knowing when to roar with her, knowing when to be firm with her or when to trust my instinct & be the guide she needs; the voice for her to trust.

Trying to do all of this with the grace, dignity & respect it deserves, and do it as only a midwife can.
Being a midwife is the greatest honour.
It is my honour.

We are 5 today!
We’ve been a bit quiet over here for a while, as I’ve been busy with my own little dot 💛
But hopefully, normality can resume soon - new courses, new venue & new faces!!
