Despite the recent weather, Leading Edge has been operating normally in recent weeks. However, with the recent announcements we have made the decision to close Leading Edge Flight Training to the public for the foreseeable future. This is in line with current government advice which we will continually monitor and reassess.

All simulator sessions, trial lessons and introductory flights will be postponed until normal operations can resume. These sessions are conducted with very close interaction between customers and staff and it is not practical to properly deep clean between sessions. It is also not possible to follow government guidelines on social distancing and remain at least 2 metres apart. As such, and because we are unable to guarantee the health of our staff and visitors we have been left with no choice. Pre-booked vouchers will be extended free of charge initially for 3 months and reassessed if required.

While this is disappointing for everyone I trust you will understand and agree with our decision.

If you wish to discuss any of your concerns with us, you can reach at [email protected] or on 0141 404 1830.

Best regards

Hi all,

We have some changes at very short notice I thought you would like to hear.

With immediate effect, in addition to our Glasgow base we will be operating out of Prestwick Airport.

We are taking over the running of Prestwick Flight Centre. This does NOT include the maintenance.

I trust you will all appreciate the benefits this will bring.

I will update you further as we progress.
