Our imaginative young artists have made some fantastic work this year that they would love you to come and see at the annual Children’s Art Exhibition. The children have worked extremely hard on some wonderful and challenging projects from plushies to our very own Mona Lisa!

There are a few spaces left for our summer art days at Aurora art studio on tomorrow, Thursday and Friday.

If you’re looking for a full day activity to keeps the kids busy we’ve got you covered. From 10am-3pm on Wednesday 29th, Thursday 30th and Friday 31st July suitable for age 5-15

Wednesday- observational drawing and expressive painting

Thursday- tshirt printing and mono printing

Friday- clay sculpture and model making

£150 for three days or £50 for one day

Aurora Art Studio is back after the summer holidays ☀️ All Clases resume this week.

The children’s classes have limited space on a Wednesday from 4-6pm and all other children’s classes have a waiting list.

The adult art class starts back tomorrow morning from 10am-12pm and is a wonderful way to start the day. We will be starting back with some relaxing drawing studies to get your creativity flowing. There are still spaces so if you would like to join email [email protected] to get yourself booked in.

🩷🖼️💛There’s still time to sign up your creative 11-16 year olds for Aurora art studios Summer Art Week. The young artists will get the opportunity to work on their art for an extended period of time, working with new materials, experimenting with techniques and generating more ideas with new art friends. Each day we will be working with a new material or technique to explore ideas and develop creative curiosity. The pupils will start by making paper from scratch learning the technique and using the handmade paper to draw botanicals. The young artist will go into paisley sketching the local area by observing the architecture, nature against the urban backdrop to develop confidence in their drawing skills. They will have fun creating collages from collected materials. These studies can then be used as reference for expressive painting studies that incorporate the pupils own ideas and style. On the last day we will be creating sculptures with clay along with weaving and other crafts of their choosing.

All materials are provided and the cost is £225 for the week. To book a place please email [email protected]

What a brilliant week I had showing visitors around the children’s art exhibition that’s it all finished now and studio will be closed till Sunday while I take a few days off. But don’t worry there are some great creative events coming up 🩷💛

This Sunday from 1-4pm Carole from will be hosting another sold out Cyanotype workshop 💙
These workshops are so much fun and very informative 🩵

Our Summer Art Week for age 5-11 will be on from Monday 14th- Friday 18th July, and will be filled with many creative activities such as Painting, collagraph printing, sculpture and more 🎨 🫟🖼️🖌️the art week is full, but there will be more chances to sign up to other workshops throughout the year!

Our Summer Art Week for age 11-16 will be on 21st - 25th July, from 10am-3pm and costs £225. During the week the young people will make paper, go out sketching, paint, draw and sculpt 🩷💛 This will be a really fun and engaging week where they can focus on their creativity through a variety of mediums and expand on their art skills. On Tuesday night the sun was out and a queue had formed of excited friends and family eager to see their young artists work for the opening of the Children’s Summer Art Exhibition 2025.

After a busy few days and with the help of my brilliant helpers known as the Art Ants the exhibition was ready to open.

The studio was filled with astonishment at the wonderfully diverse work created by the talented young artists,

Aimee, Abigail, Ava, Ayla, Cain, Daniel, Eden, Eilidh, Elena, Emma, Erin, Euan, Faith, Fia, Finlay, Francesca, Harry, Jack, Jaiden, Jax, Jessica, Julia, Kirsty, Kate, Layla, Lewis, Lola, Macy, Matei, Nel, Noah, Oliver, Rebecca, Rory, Sia, Siena, Sophie, Sophie P & Zeke.

The children do such wonderful work throughout the year, their enthusiasm and imagination is boundless and I love helping them realise their ideas. The children’s parents and carers are also very supportive and all the gifts myself, Luisa and Fia received are very much appreciated 💕

The exhibition is open daily from 10-4 until Sunday 6th July and all are welcome 🩷

There are art materials out for any visitors to try out, Sophie P brought her family along today and they all enjoyed doing sketches and paintings of their favourite artworks 🎨💕

At Aurora Art Studio the children’s art classes are filled with creativity and friendship. Throughout the year the children have been busy working on their own creative projects. These projects are developed from each child’s own ideas and imagination. The projects range widely from paintings, drawings, models, sculpture to costume with some children collaborating on an exciting group project. The young artists aged between 5-15 years artwork will be showcased at our annual Children’s Summer Art Exhibition.
