As the school year comes to an end, many children can feel completely overwhelmed. Alongside excitement for the summer holidays, some may be feeling anxious about a new teacher, a new classroom, or changes to their routine.

End-of-year tiredness, combined with the recent hot weather, can also affect children’s mood, concentration, and emotional wellbeing.

Parents and schools can help by:
✔️ Talking positively about September changes while listening to any worries.
✔️ Ensuring transition activities have taken place.
✔️ Maintaining routines where possible.
✔️ Encouraging plenty of water, rest and sleep during warm weather.
✔️ Offering reassurance and understanding.

A little extra support now can help children finish the year feeling confident, settled, and ready for their next adventure!

Proud to support these wonderful ladies with new kit for the season ahead at Paignton Cricket Club! 🏏

Our softball ladies started their season with new kits, and a win against Brixham. 🏏🥂🏆

Batting first, Brixham made a net score of 233, with Hannah H, Jazz and Lisa amongst the wickets – while skipper, Steph, took 4 wickets in her 3 overs, for the cost of 3 runs! 🔥
In response, Paignton Ladies made 321, with everyone contributing to the scorecard. 🏏

We look forward to the return game - and catching up with Brixham girls again later in the summer! 😃
