With hot weather scheduled again for the coming week, please see an overview of the key steps we take to keep everyone safe, comfortable and able to learn.

DISCO for all children next Friday 10th July (all within school time)

Reception - 10:30 to 11am

Year 1,2 & 3 - 1pm to 13:40

Year 4 & 5 - 13:50 to 14:25

Year 6 - 14:30 to 15:20
This will be funded from the opportunities fund so no cost to families due to fundraising this year.

Years, R, 1, 2 & 3 will receive a free small bag of sweets.

Year 4, 5 & 6 to bring extra pennies for tuck.
Action for families: Send children in Disco ready next Friday 10th July (non-uniform)

Following feedback for our school council led charity fundraising day next week. We have widened the theme for the non uniform day. Children can come to school in Superhero themed clothing, beach themed clothing or summer non-uniform. Any donations are voluntary with 100% going to RNLI as the school councils chosen charity. Cake sale after school outside main reception. Many thanks and well done to the school council for organising a charitable event.

📚 Year 7 Induction Day – Thursday 2nd July

We look forward to welcoming our new Year 7 students for their Induction Day tomorrow, Thursday 2nd July.

✅ Students should aim to arrive by 8:20am (or earlier).
✅ Students should attend wearing their primary school PE kit.
✅ All students will receive a free, delicious school meal provided by our catering team, Innovate IFG.
✅ The day will finish at 2:45pm.

For Waterleat Road

- Wednesday 1st July - Parents with surnames A - K have been invited at 4:20pm for the 4:30pm talk and parents with surnames L to Z have been invited to come in at 5:35pm to start at 5:45pm.

For Borough Road

- Parents with surnames A - L have been invited at 4:20pm for the 4:30pm talk and parents with surnames M to Z have been invited to come in at 5:35pm to start at 5:45pm.

A reminder to all pupils starting at Paignton Academy in September

Tuesday 30th June- New Parents information evening for pupils starting at Borough Road

Wednesday 1st July- New Parents information evening for pupils starting at Waterleat Road

Thursday 2nd July- Induction day for both sites (Waterleat and Borough) starting at 8:20am-2:45pm. Pupils to go straight to Paignton Academy and dress in their Primary School PE kits.
