What happens at an Outdoor Explorers adventure?
We share stories, we craft, we play, we enjoy freedom, grown ups enhoy suppoetive conversations. We share food and company, we may sing, we may enjoy a campfire- sometimes we even use tools ro build things! Our Pallet Palace was a kids inspired creation!

Do you struggle with kids bickering over toys? With battles to get the tidying up done?
Let me share something that's worked really well with us as a home educating family with 3 kids.
The struggle to fit in tidying after play is real- it often became a struggle and we didn't want that.NO more piles of toys simply thrown out of boxes and baskets and no one to tidy. We now choose THREE toys at the start of the day (this can be basket of cars/train track/wooden animals- not 3 single toys) check in with child that they are responsible for those 3. So far it has worked really well. Instead of saying it's tidy up time- I ask them what they chose to be responsible for and where it should go and it's tidied without the battle.

Why have I decided to get everyone together for 6 months worth of adventures this coming year?
Yes- you might have noticed, we've split the calendar into 2- Sept- Feb and Feb- July .
Two reasons-
1. Forest school was never meant to be a one and done deal- this allows families to really experience the changing seasons and grow to become part of a wonderful wild tribe of friends. 2. I like to know who is coming and when- rather than having a last minute scramble! Looking to find friends? Then come join us!!
