Sightreading was the focus of the grade 8ers session this weekend. The element of the exam that everybody dreads but the ability to pick up a piece of Music and just play it is ultimately the reason why most people want to learn an instrument.
Sharing strategies and tackling it together in a safe, supportive space was our approach.

Today I bid farewell to two wonderful children and their lovely family as they depart for a new life in New Zealand in the new year. I am so proud to have been a part of their musical journey and look forward to seeing how they continue to grow from the other side of the globe. I am so lucky to do the work I do xx
