Reception Class had a fantastic time exploring our school trim trail today for the first time! They found it quite tricky to balance and some found it a little bit scary, but they all showed excellent courage and determination! Well done Reception!👏🏽⭐️

Year 6 were very excited to meet their visitors from Brixham Battery Military Museum today! Year 6 have started the year by working hard on their history learning experience based around World War II.

Our new Reception children had great fun exploring our forest fun area today!🌳The children have settled in really well over the past week and are now feeling confident enough to explore new places within our school grounds! 🌿🌟

We all know what a huge day tomorrow is for our new Reception Children and their families! Miss Ross and Mrs K, can’t wait to welcome our youngest children into school and for their Collaton journey to begin!
The whole staff team are super excited to welcome all of our other children back after the summer holidays and make a fantastic start to the year in their new classes!

This week marked the start of a new chapter for ACE, as Nick Hind began his first week as Chief Executive Officer.

Having already been a valued member of the Trust, Nick brings a deep understanding of our schools, communities, and shared commitment to improving outcomes for children. His first week has provided an opportunity to connect with colleagues across ACE and to begin shaping the next stage of our journey together.

We are excited about the future and look forward to continuing to work alongside Nick as he leads the Trust into this next chapter.

We can’t wait for some of the children from Collaton pre-school to start the next part of their education journey with us in September in Reception👏🏽🥳

It’s always a sad time of year for us as we send our leavers off on their next big adventure.
After a fantastic party we enjoyed one last event with our preschool families, our Leaver’s Presentation.
We want to say thank you for choosing us to care for your children, we have thoroughly enjoyed watching them flourish and can’t wait to see what they achieve next!

Today was great to be doing a taster session for Rugga Cubs as part of their Ready, Steady Picnic event. Some fun multi sport games, followed by some Football Rounders, with children ranging from Reception to Year 6.
