Yesterday was the last session at Orchard Forest School for the older children who are leaving at the end of term. As always the children had a wonderful time. The staff and volunteers put so much effort into making the sessions such an amazing experience for the children. Thank you so much to Lou and her team. A special thank you to Ruth for their gifts. 🐝

Our book this week ‘Rattletrap Car’ describes how we have all felt: ‘hot, hot, hot’! 🥵 It’s been a hard week for us all, but we’ve made it through with time inside the setting in the cool and early morning trips to the beach. We have also had a paddle in a friend’s paddling pool.

The children really enjoyed our visit to Paignton Zoo. They said hello to the new rhinos and told them their names! 💕 They saw Brad, the new giraffe, the new rheas and the week old river hogglets! We rescued a caterpillar off the path and watched carefully how he moved, talking about his colours and hair.
