Today we said goodbye to our Year 6 children as they completed their final day of primary school.

Following a wonderful Leavers’ Assembly last night, today was a chance to celebrate everything they have achieved together. The day was filled with water fights, shirt and yearbook signing, and plenty of time spent with friends and teachers, reflecting on the memories they have made throughout their time with us.

This has been an incredible cohort of children who have grown in confidence, embraced every opportunity and made a positive contribution to school life. We are immensely proud of everything they have accomplished and the young people they have become.

As they move on to secondary school, we wish them every success in the exciting journey ahead. Thank you for the memories, Year 6 - you will always be a valued part of our school.

Today, as we reached the end of another wonderful school year, we took a moment to celebrate our β€˜Always’ Children.

These pupils have consistently followed our Golden Rules, lived our school values every day, and been outstanding role models for others. They have truly gone above and beyond throughout the year.

Chosen by their teachers for their exemplary attitude and behaviour, they enjoyed some special time with Mrs Bastock and Miss Drohan, sharing their favourite memories from the year and celebrating together with a well-deserved ice lolly.

Well done to each and every one of you – we are incredibly proud of all you have achieved. 🌟🍦

Last week, our wonderful Reception classes took their learning outside for an incredibly important cause. As their Courageous Advocacy Project, our youngest children stepped up to look after our planet by taking part in the Big Butterfly Count! πŸ“Šβœ¨

Armed with lots of enthusiasm, they became real-life citizen scientistscounting the butterflies in our local environment to help protect these beautiful creatures for the future.

Tiny steps can make a massive difference and our children have shown us exactly what it means to care for our world. 🌍❀️

Take a look at their incredible efforts and see what they found here:

Look at the masterpieces our children created during Art Week last week! They worked incredibly hard with Mrs Chapman on a range of creative projects, and we could not be prouder of them.

Keep your eyes peeled - these beautiful pieces will soon be displayed all around the school for everyone to enjoy! 🏫✨

A huge thank you to Mrs Chapman for inspiring our young artists, and well done to all of the children! ❀️

What a fantastic Elberry House Day! πŸ’™πŸ΅

Yesterday was a huge success, with everyone coming together to raise money for The Monkey Tree Charity – an amazing cause that provides wheelchairs for children who are unwell.

At the last count, we were heading towards a staggering Β£800 raised – an incredible achievement!

A huge well done to our fantastic Elberry House Captains, Isla, Millie and Sam for organising such a brilliant day. Their hard work and enthusiasm made it a real success.

There were lots of fun activities for everyone to enjoy, including a colouring competition, Guess the Name of the Monkey, an after-school sale, and a scavenger hunt.

Thank you to everyone who supported the day by taking part, donating and helping to make such a positive difference. We are so proud of everyone involved! πŸ’™
