🔬🚀 Girls into STEM at South Devon College 🚀🔬
After weeks of preparation, our SDHS team went up against other schools, designing solutions for local environmental issues. The competition was fierce from the other groups, but our girls managed to win first place! 👏 Not only did they do a fantastic presentation on this day, but the students have since presented again to the College's leadership team.
Events like this play an important role in encouraging and empowering the next generation of women in STEM. Well done to all involved!

Well done to all students who have worked hard today despite the particularly hot weather ☀️
Due to the forecast of extreme heat, we have made the decision to rearrange tomorrows scheduled Science mock to the morning. Students will first have an opportunity to revise before sitting the assessment from 1045 - 1200.
Once completed, students will be free to leave school for the day. Alternatively, they can stay to access revision sessions or sit any incomplete mock exams , ahead of the Maths assessment on Friday 26th June. We will also provide revision resources for students who choose to work from home during the afternoon.
We anticipate a normal school day on Friday.
