World Oceans Day is a fantastic opportunity to help children learn about the wonders of our oceans and the importance of protecting them. Every small action makes a difference in keeping our blue planet thriving.

We can’t wait to see a sea of blue across the school! 💙🌊

Reception were visited by Aaron from Devon Air Ambulance this week. We learnt lots about what the Devon Air Ambulance do to keep us safe and we learnt all about their helicopter. 🚁
We got to see the special helmet they wear on the helicopter and saw a video of the helicopter landing. Thank you to the Devon Air Ambulance for giving up their time!

There were lots of smiles and excitement this week as our Year 6 children received their leavers’ hoodies! 🎉💙

The hoodies are a special keepsake to celebrate their time at primary school and mark the beginning of their next adventure. The children were so excited to put them on, pose for photos and share the moment with their friends — memories they’ll treasure for years to come! ✨

We think they wore them very proudly! 🌟

Our Year 6 children tackled their SATs this week with positivity, determination and plenty of breakfast to fuel them! 🥐✨

Each morning started with time to relax, chat with friends and settle those nerves before the exams began. We are so proud of every single child for the resilience, effort and mature attitude they showed throughout the week — they truly gave it their absolute best! 💙
