Saying goodbye to the kids we’ve watched grow from infants is one of the hardest parts of being a childcare worker.

People don’t often talk about how deep our bonds are with these children or how much we truly love and care for them as if they were our own. I’ll be honest, this is the part of the journey I struggle with the most. My heart aches, but I know they’ll go on to do amazing things.

To the parents: thank you for trusting us with your babies and allowing us to be part of your community. It’s been a privilege to see them learn, laugh, play, and grow.

We’ll never forget them.🥺💛

🎄CHRISTMAS 2024🎅

We ended the Christmas period looking at the Christmas decorations, decorating a snowman on the tough tray, singing Christmas songs, dancing and enjoying a Christmas style lunch!

🎄Christmas Gingerbread making🧑‍🎄

Catching up on posting my last years activities so I can post this years activities!

We had so much fun making the gingerbread dough, taking turns to add, sive and mix the ingredients. We spoke about the colour, texture and smell (yummy ginger). Once the dough was made we chose what cutter to use before it was cooked and decorated! Some of the little ones enjoyed eating their decorations before they finished their design 🤣

We Loved the Christmas special at Orchard Forest School! Mud glorious mud!
We made a Christmas tree decoration and even got to meet Father Christmas! 🎅

Garden and park fun! We love the outdoors!
