We took a walk around Oldway Gardens this morning and found this perfect spot for an Easter egg hunt

Thank you for a fab Christmas craft event! We love bookish play and this story was perfectly paired with slugs to make, gloop to explore lots of little Normans and stickers to make baubles 💚

🔴 Remembrance Day 🔴

On Friday we shared with the children some information on remembrance day. We looked at what a poppy was, coloured in pictures, watched a short clip from CBeebies and went for a walk to find poppies. We talked about being thankful to those who helped us and poppies are there to say we remember ❤️

🍄Mushroom Week🍄

We started our week by going on a mushroom hunt at Stover.. we found lots of different shapes and sizes!

Whilst there we made some dotty mushroom pics 🍄

Today we talked about mushrooms we could eat and went to the shop to buy some. At lunch time we made our own pizzas using the mushrooms alongside other toppings. We thought they were very yummy 😋

🌰 Conker Hunt 🌰

We joined our friends this morning to collect some conkers.. Autumn vibes were in full force with the ground covered in leaves and conkers to find 🍂

This afternoon when thinking how to safely explore conkers with little ones I decided on conker rolling and we created some pictures with our conkers using Autumn colours 🤎🧡❤️
