We’ve been quietly piloting something behind the scenes… 💡
Over the past few months, we’ve worked with a small number of charities and CICs to help improve their financial systems, clarity and confidence.

What we found wasn’t surprising — but it was important:

Many organisations are doing incredible work, but are held back by:
• Unclear budgets and cashflow 📊
• Difficulty tracking restricted funds 🔍
• Systems that don’t quite work ⚙️
• Time lost on admin instead of delivery ⏳

Through practical, hands-on support, we helped organisations to:

✔ Gain a clearer understanding of their financial position
✔ Set up or improve simple financial systems
✔ Start using reports that actually support decision-making 📈
✔ Save time on day-to-day processes ⏱️
✔ Feel more confident managing funding and planning ahead

We are giving organisations the clarity and control they need to operate effectively.

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we are moving into a new ground floor office right on Padiham High Street – placing us firmly in the heart of the community we care so much about 💙
After carefully searching for the right space, we’ve found a location that truly reflects our values as a Community Interest Company – accessible, welcoming, and right on everyone’s doorstep. Being based on the High Street means we are easier to find, easier to reach, and better connected to the people and organisations we work alongside every day.
This vibrant new space will allow us to:

💥👏🇷🗓📑📋🗂📝👋🫱Directors & Shareholders of Private Limited Companies and Incorporated Charities — have you got your Companies House Personal Code yet?

If you have not looked into this yet, now is the time.👏

From 18 November 2025, identity verification became a legal requirement under the new Companies House rules.

This is not optional.

There is a 12-month transition period, but once your due date applies:

👉 You (or your accountant) will not be able to file your confirmation statement or accounts unless all directors have verified and provided their personal code.

Identity verification is a simple process:
1️⃣ Verify your identity
2️⃣ Receive your Companies House Personal Code
3️⃣ Provide that code for each role you hold

We are a Community Interest Company, registered as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider, and supervised under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 for Anti-Money Laundering purposes.

We can complete the identity verification for you for £75 per person (more complex structures will be quoted clearly in advance).

We’re Looking for Our First Fixed Office in Burnley 👏👏👏💗💫💫💫💕🙌🙌🙌💘

We’re excited to share that Concord Connections CIC is now looking for its first fixed premises as we continue to grow our delivery of digital accounting and financial training for small businesses, charities and women in enterprise across East Lancashire.

To support structured, hands-on sessions, we are looking for:

• Ground floor premises (or full disabled access)
• Space suitable for small group training (6–8 participants)
• On-site or nearby parking
• Good public transport links
• A professional and welcoming business environment
• Evenings and weekend availability

Having a dedicated base will allow us to deliver training in a more consistent, accessible and supportive setting.

If you know of a suitable space in or around Padiham / Burnley, we would genuinely appreciate any leads.

Over the past year, we’ve been busy — learning from the community feedback, facing a few challenges, and celebrating many important wins.
As our work developed, we responded directly to what communities and organisations told us they needed, moving from information and guidance into practical digital, business and accountancy software training, while keeping access, inclusion and ethical delivery at the core.
Feedback consistently highlighted the value of clear, practical support in an area many find complex or intimidating. While this work is niche and partnerships take time to build, we’re proud of the steady, thoughtful progress made — and grateful to everyone who has placed their trust in us so far.

November–December 2025 – Expanding Reach

We were privileged to meet with Consul General of Romania in Manchester, Ms Nicoleta Teodorovici and representatives of the Romanian Consulate in Manchester, where we shared our work supporting the Romanian community in East Lancashire.

✔ We also engaged with the Greater Manchester Business Growth Hub to explore future partnerships for Romanian SMEs
✔ Continued delivering our Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) support

These conversations helped us better understand the needs of Romanian entrepreneurs and clarify how Concord Connections CIC can strengthen and complement existing support.
