This week the nursery children have had lots of learning opportunities through both independent play and also through activities set up by our staff (using our curriculum), who have set up creative activities continuously throughout the children‘s day, this includes meal times where we promote healthy eating, independence and learning experiences for all children. 🥗🥪 we are mainly paper based and the focus is on teaching each day (we do also have online journals that are updated periodically).

We are excited for our last week of holiday care with lots of fun days including our movie day on Monday where all children are aloud to come in PJs or comfy clothes. 🍿🎬

All our staff throughout are DBS checked and first aid trained. ⛑️

We had a lot of learning and development for all our children, with differentiated activities designed to meet every nursery child's needs. Including creating a volcano and setting it off for science week in holiday care. 🥼🌋

Our setting provides wrap-around care for children aged 9 months to 11 years.

We had an amazing week this week at Padiwacks in both the nursery and holiday club. Today some of the holiday club children have been up Pendle hill and all did an amazing job. All staff are super proud at what the children have been able to achieve.

We are ready for another fun filled week next week ready for Science week.

Here are the photos from last week for both the and . The theme last week was Space Mission and children went to a number of places of interest such as Manchester science museum as well as local parks.

We're pleased to say that every staff member who works with the children both in our nursery and out of school club (incl holiday club) has successfully completed their Paediatric First Aid Training. We are immensely proud that we take the care of the children very seriously at our setting in we can akso advise that all our team will be fully compliant with the forthcoming changes to the Statutory Framework in September 2026. www.padiwacks.co.uk

Here’s our recent photos. The children recently visited Mrs Dowsons Farm Park which has created some wonderful memories.
We’ve also added some photos of our toddler room which was refurbished this weekend. Places now available

Here's our photos from June. Please just click on the image. They include some images of the children creating their own graduation photos. We've also been creating flags and the children have enjoyed two world cup themed buffets. We have activities galore and many today have included iced themes which help keep the children cool.
