This week is Children’s Mental Health Week, with a focus on belonging 💛

The feeling of belonging starts when children are babies, long before they can name it or understand it.

For babies, belonging is felt in their bodies. It shows up as feeling safe, loved, secure and enjoyed. It’s in adults delighting in their attempts and achievements, holding them close when they’re upset, and responding to them with consistent, loving care.
