Recruiting for our Baby Unit.

We are looking for an enthusiastic qualified and experienced staff member to join our team from July 2025. We have 1 full time position available. Candidates must have a level 2 or 3 in Early Years and ideally have relevant Nursery experience although will consider newly qualified college leavers.

The position is initially to cover Maternity Leave with the opportunity to become permanent in 2026.

Full time 45 hours Monday to Friday.

The nursery cares for 32 over 2 year olds and 15 under 2's per day in small groups and staff take responsibility for key children including planning, preparing and implementing activities in line with the EYFS as well as monitoring and tracking childrens progress.

Today we reach another big milestone. It's hard to believe that 30 years have past until I remember all that has changed in my personal life in that time, including my 4 amazing kids that are all now grown up and moving on in their own lives.
It's not all been smooth sailing and there has been many ups and downs but overall I look back with great fondness, with happy memories of fun, laughter , wonderful families and children.

My staff have forever been supportive and dedicated and my current team make up one of the strongest we've ever had. I can't thank them all enough for their hard work and support.

It has been an honour to see so many children through our doors, to see them flourish and achieve and to be confident individuals heading off to school- it makes me proud to be a part of so many lives.

A big thank you to my 4 beautiful children who have picked me up through hard times and supported me as they've become adults with their time, skills and love. To my Husband for his Building and Maintainance skills ( which have been called upon at the most inconvenient of times) and for him putting up with me when things get tough.

Lastly I have to be one of the luckiest employers to find staff who have stuck with me through it all. To Tracey who has been with me since the beginning, Louisa and Zoe for the past 21 years, Elaine for 18 years, Michelle for 17 years, Rhian for 15 years, Arita for 12 years and Leanne and Nicki for 11 years.
To all my other current staff not mentioned by name but have been a credit to the nursery and I look forward to working with for many years to come.
