📅 1-year fixed-term contract
⏰ 18 hours per week
📆 Monday, Tuesday & Thursday
🕘 9am – 3pm
🏡 Term time only – 38 weeks per year

As an Early Years Educator, you’ll help create a calm, caring and stimulating environment where every child feels safe, valued and ready to learn. 💕

You’ll have the opportunity to:

🧸 Build special relationships with your key children
🌱 Support children's learning and development through play
🎨 Plan fun and exciting activities
👨‍👩‍👧 Work closely with families
🤝 Be part of a supportive and passionate team
💫 Help give children the very best start in their early years

🎓 Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification required
🔐 Enhanced DBS check and professional references required.

🌟 We’re hiring! Early Years Educator (Level 3) 🌟

Oxted Preschool is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Educator to join our team.

🕘 Part-time, term-time only (38 weeks per year)
⏰ 18 hours per week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9am to 3pm
📍 Permanent position (subject to DBS check and probationary period)

You’ll need a full relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification. Safeguarding Children and Paediatric First Aid training are desirable.

We have an Open Day next Wednesday, 12 February, 10-11am. Come and join us to see how we learn and play!

Last week, we used magnifying glasses to explore all sorts of insects and small creatures. We finished the week by making our own toast and spreading butter and jam on the slice before enjoying eating our toasty treats at snack time.

There was lots of fun to be had at preschool last week. Kinetic sand is a firm favourite in our tuff tray and so much laughter and mess with shredded paper. It's also always lots of fun to dress up and role play.

Today we had endless versions of Elsa, Iron Man, Santa, Snow White and more. It's always fun dressing up and role playing.
