Congratulations to these battle-hardened members of our squad and Summer Camp team! 🥋💪

Not content with five consecutive days of assisting at Summer Camp, followed by their evening lessons, all four travelled up to Pimlico, London, alongside Master Hodson and Mr Baldery for an intensive 3+ hour training session with Grand Master Jedut from Poland.

This is the third consecutive year that members of Fortitude and our squad have taken the opportunity to train with GM Jedut during his August visits.

Their commitment, attitude and desire to keep learning are a fantastic example of what it means to continually push yourself beyond your comfort zone.

Thank you, Sir, for the training, your insights and your inspiration. You always create a unique experience for everyone fortunate enough to attend.

As we sign off the second Fortitude Summer Camp of 2026, we can reflect on what has been a truly special week in East Grinstead.

Even with a heatwave to contend with, it did nothing but galvanise our incredible team of instructors and assistants. They stepped up, led, guided and supported our young students throughout the week, helping to create memories that will live long in the minds of everyone who attended.

The individuals pictured here gave so much to the students and to the team. Their hard work, punctuality, togetherness and willingness to help spoke volumes about the people they are and the character they possess.

When we look at what makes someone excel in Taekwon-Do, of course we first see physical ability. But what really sets people apart is their character — their ability to show kindness, compassion, patience and care for others.

These are the qualities that matter. These are the qualities that our young people can take with them into their adult lives.

To all of our amazing instructors and assistants — thank you. We are truly humbled and grateful to have you with us. You have made this Summer very special. ❤️

And congratulations to Fortitude Academy Wrotham on their Summer Camp — you absolutely smashed it! 👏

Now we hand over to Fortitude Sevenoaks for the third and final Summer Camp of 2026. It’s their first time hosting, and we’re sure they will deliver another amazing week for our students.

The countdown is on… Summer Camp in East Grinstead begins on Monday 10th August! ☀️

To get ready, our Teen Higher Belt class put the Summer Camp team games to the test. They threw themselves into every challenge with fantastic enthusiasm, teamwork, and plenty of healthy competitiveness.

They even took on the famous Four Chair Challenge… and loved every minute of it!

If this is anything to go by, we’re in for an amazing week. We can’t wait to welcome everyone on Monday for a week of training, games, challenges, and fun.
