✨ Performer News! ✨

A massive well done to LCA Senior Performer, Chloe, who has been super busy with industry work recently!

Firstly, she was successful in securing a role as a background actor in the movie ’Cookster: the darkest days’, due to be released in 2023.

Set in a secondary school in 1987, the film tells the true story of Jason Cook, a troubled teen, with undiagnosed dyslexia and ADHD who gets into the wrong crowd and becomes involved in the world of drug and crime before turning his life around and going on to become a successful writer.
The movie is about Jason’s childhood and is the prequel to the movie, ‘Cookster: The Devil’s Dandruff’. Chloe was on set for two days, playing one of the classroom students. It was her first acting role.

She is also shooting a family promo video this weekend playing a new game called SPOUT: Angel edition (for families). The video will be used on the company's socials and website/sales platforms (Amazon, Ebay etc). https://www.gameofspout.co.uk/

Chloe was also recently asked to submit a self-tape for a 60 second short film called 'In my skin'. The film is about body image, aimed at 13-18 year olds. The film will be used online and on social media.

Chloe has recently signed with Lacara, a modelling and acting agency.

A HUGE well done to the LCA Musical Theatre groups for amazing performances today. Each of you shone and demonstrated the work and techniques you’ve been working on so brilliantly this term. We are so proud to be your teachers and to watch you grow as performers. We are so excited for next term and what it will bring for you all! 🎶💃🏻🎭💜🤩

As always a huge thank you also goes to our amazing teaching team, support staff and volunteers. Thank you for guiding and inspiring LCA performers every week, we are so lucky to have you 💜

A huge well done to LCA Senior, Charlotte, who recently performed the role of ‘Scare Actor’ at Tully’s Farm Shocktober Fest! This is such a huge achievement and isn’t an easy gig to get. She went through a tough audition process and was then selected to be part of the team for this year’s Halloween Season! We are SO proud of you Charlotte. You continue to dream big and work hard and you are thriving. Watching you go from strength to strength as a performer is so wonderful to see!✨🎭🎶💃🏻🤩💜

Well done team!!! 🤩 We are so proud of all LCA Senior Musical Theatre Performers for their performances at The Harlequin today! They were professional and focused the whole day and their performances were fantastic! 💜

A big thank you to DreamCatcher Productions for having us! It was so wonderful to be part of a community event like this again after the pandemic. Thank you for creating a performance opportunity for so many performers in the area to show their talents! ✨👏🏻🎶💃🏻🎭🎉

The LCA Associates Programme has officially been launched!! 🤩🙌🏻💜

A HUGE thank you to the wonderful Keith Jack for running amazing Masterclasses with junior and senior musical theatre performers yesterday. They had such a fantastic time with you and it was the perfect way to launch the programme! 💜

We are so proud of LCA performers for committing themselves to the masterclasses, taking on the challenges that were set and stepping outside of their comfort zones, you all thrived and it was amazing to see. So many special moments and we are so excited for this to continue for you all throughout the programme 💜

This programme is for LCA’s Junior and Senior Musical Theatre Performers as an extension of LCA’s Musical Theatre Classes. The programme will guide, encourage and inspire those who wish to expand and develop their skills even further! 🤩🎶💃🏻🎭💜
