A truly special moment at Oxford.🌼

Eight years ago, I had the opportunity to speak to a small group of select government school girl students through an IIT Palakkad initiative.

One of them was very inspired and reached out to me for advise. Over the past eight years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside them, supporting them through parts of her journey, and today they are pursuing a PhD in plasma physics.

Finally, after almost a decade, we met in person here at Oxford and she told me something that moved me deeply : that the talk had not just sparked her dream, but gave her the courage to pursue it, regardless of her background or exposure.

It’s incredible how a few words, spoken in one moment, can quietly take root and grow into a life-changing dream. But it is her persistence, courage, and years of hard work that truly brought it to life. Wishing her all heights, happiness and health 🌟

Mentorship matters, but individual efforts can only go so far. Initiatives such as VigyanShaala International are essential to bringing relatable role models, guidance and opportunity to more young people in India, helping strengthen the STEM pipeline at scale.

Feeling deeply grateful, humbled, and proud. 🤍
