There is a paid job opportunity working for the FA if anyone here would be interested? The Pay is up to £48 per week and its very little work which would look great on your CV. Its the job Adam and I have been doing where we keep track of football activity across the university.

Apologies for the delay for using the 3G pitches, we hope to access this soon! We will postpone the league until further notice for when we get access to the 3G pitches. (Should be within next couple of weeks).

We are in the process of trying to use the brand new 3G pitches at Harcourt Hill for our games. So unfortunately we will be postponing games for this weekend and will update you on whats happening next weekend asap.

We have also managed to get across to more people in Brookes meaning there will be more players for the coming weeks.

Lads don't forget to bring both light are dark coloured tops to make make it easier to see teammates!

Just a quick reminder that out Fantasy Football League will be starting this Sunday at 1:30pm. Just turn up and play on the day and we will organise you a team if you don't already have one!

The points system will work as followed:

Goal scored: 5 pts
Assist : 3 pts
Man of the Match: 4 pts
Missed penalty: -3 pts

For Goalkeepers and defenders only:
Clean sheet: 5 pts
Goal against : -1pts

For Goalkeepers only:
Saved/missed penalty: 5 pts

I will post a table each week of who has the most points. Prizes are to be won at certain points of the semester for those who are leading in the league.

The league is going to be starting formally on the 11th October at 1:30pm (That's next weekend). Instead of teams being awarded, we will be adopting a fantasy football type league, where individuals will gain (or lose) points based on performances such as goals, clean sheets etc. Prizes are to be won also.

Hope to see you there. Turn up and play, anyone is welcome to join a team or bring a team a long on the day.
