I'm enormously proud of this!
Discovering Our World - a brand new activity pack from the Institute of Physics. It contains activities, puzzles and role models and is part of the campaign.
It's aimed at upper primary, but there's lots in there for older, younger and whole families. Some great sensory activities in there for children with SEND too. Perfect for the holidays or for class activities.
I hope you enjoy it. Merry Christmas!
Do Try This at Home
A new series of simple, fun physics demonstration videos β helping parents and carers to get their children excited about science at home.

Are you looking for profiles of current scientists?
A couple of weeks ago, we saw the release of the brilliant PSTT resource A Scientist Just Like Me
https://pstt.org.uk/resources/curriculum-materials/ASJLM
Today, I was introduced to this set of scientists by Daisy Shearer. Another lovely group of relatable human beings doing science - they could really inspire your learners!

Our friend Sarah's Adventures in Science put a callout on twitter for family friendly physics jokes. Hereβs the one we have printed on our boxes and a few other favouritesβ¦.
π Why is electricity a good party guest?
Because it knows exactly how to conduct itself in public.
π Where does bad light end up?
In prism.
π Why can't you trust an atom?
They make up everything.
π Have you read that new book about anti-gravity?
I couldn't put it down.
Share your best science jokes with us in the comments! βοΈπ§²ππ
