Congratulations to Turners Properties on their 10 year anniversary🎉🥂 They have always been very supportive to our school

Turners Estate Agents, in Wheatley, donate £150 to the PTA, for each completion of a property in our school catchment area.
You will see the Turner Properties logo on the front of our weekly newsletter along with their QR code. Just scan the code and it will take you straight to their website.

Please let any family or friends know who maybe buying or selling a property in Garsington, Denton or Cuddesdon.

🎉 10 YEARS OF TURNER PROPERTIES! 🎉

Today marks 10 years since Turner Properties opened its doors, and what a journey it has been!

Over the past decade, we’ve had the privilege of helping so many people move home, start new chapters, find their next property and achieve their property goals. 🏡

We couldn’t have reached this milestone without the incredible support of our clients, friends, local businesses, the wider community and most importantly support from our families. Being part of the local community has always been hugely important to us, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has trusted us, recommended us and supported us along the way.

A huge thank you also goes to our amazing team, past and present, who have helped make Turner Properties what it is today.

Here’s to 10 years of helping people move, 10 years of local connections, and hopefully many more years to come! 🥂

Thank you for being part of our journey. 💙💚

Looksmaxxing is an online trend focused on improving physical appearance, particularly among boys and young men.

While some content centres on grooming, skincare, diet and exercise, other parts of the trend can promote questionable advice, extreme practices and unrealistic expectations.

Our latest guide explores key concerns, including:
• Pressure around male appearance and body image
• Misleading or potentially dangerous advice
• Obsessive behaviours and declining self-worth
• Mental health concerns
• Exposure to increasingly extreme online communities

It also shares practical advice for parents and educators on recognising looksmaxxing terminology, noticing changes in behaviour and starting supportive conversations about appearance, influencers and online expectations.

Read the guide here: https://vist.ly/5ke3u

Our latest guide supports parents, carers and educators in understanding the trend and recognising when appearance-focused content may be becoming harmful.

The guide explores:
• The targeting of male insecurities and body image concerns
• Misleading advice and extreme appearance-focused practices
• Links to obsessive behaviours and mental health difficulties
• How increasingly extreme online communities can influence young people
• Warning signs, terminology and changes in behaviour to look out for

With clear, practical advice, the resource helps adults open supportive conversations about appearance, influencers and unrealistic expectations.

🌿 We need your help to bring our Forest School to life!

Garsington Primary is working hard to transform our outdoor forest school area into an all‑weather classroom — a space where our children can learn, explore, imagine and be amongst nature, whatever the weather.

To make it happen, we’re reaching out to our wonderful community for support.

🌳 Tree trunks — We’re hoping to create more natural seating. If you know anyone who could donate and deliver tree trunk/tree trunk sections, please message me.

🤎 Mud kitchens — Or someone handy who might be able to build one for our little explorers.

🛖 Large tarpaulin — To help us create shelter among the trees.

💪 Small digger — Our children love digging, and we’d like to create a proper digging patch in our playground. We’d also love a wooden border for this, so if you know anyone with wooden sleepers or old pallets, please let us know.

Every donation — big or small — helps us build a space where our children can learn, grow, and make memories outdoors.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and support our school community.

If you can help, please direct message me on here, comment below or contact the school office [email protected].
