The vision of the founding parents continues today: to provide a thoughtful, deep education which develops children in heart, mind, soul and strength. For anyone who missed our open morning, here's a glimpse into the fun! We measured like an Egyptian, practiced hieroglyphs, crafted Tutankhamen out of vegetables, made boats to travel down the Nile and taste-tested honey. (Did you know - archeologists discovered edible honey in ancient Egyptian tombs, thought to be over 3000 years old?)

Clubs at ECS started this week!

From Hockey to Hama Beads, our teachers host clubs to suit all interests and ages. Here is a glimpse into Monday Field Hockey afternoons with beloved PE Coach Miss Randle. She brings brilliant energy and enthusiasm, guiding students to hone their coordination skills -- but more importantly -- learn to work as a team on the playing field.

Happy 39th birthday to ECS! Last week, we enjoyed a beautiful gathering of ECS students, staff and families as we celebrated with singing, a tea party and lots of cake!
What a happy time filled with laughter and sweets.

We’re full of thanks for 39 years of God’s goodness to this school, and trust he will continue to bless us this coming year.

A big thank you to all the ECS families who brought such beautiful energy as the crew got the grounds ready to greet the students this week! Our teachers also gathered for inset days and prayed over every classroom, playground and learning space! We are excited to welcome students this week for a new year of curiosity and the beauty of learning!!

Turns out we have some entrepreneurs in the making…! Our year 5 and 6 children planned products to sell, sourcing ingredients, calculating costs, and learning around pricing and profit margins. Icy lemonade, chocolate covered popcorn, jewellery and slime were all for sale. Younger children and families came to do business and some of them sold out!

We are SO proud of the children’s amazing performance of the ‘Rainbow Spectacular’ musical on Monday. There was singing, dancing, acting and laughing!

A huge well done to everyone but especially our year 5s and 6s who put hours into rehearsing their lines and pulled off a stellar performance. Special thanks to our amazing musical director Miss Coad and the rest of the staff team.

Praise God for drama, music, community and of course - colours! 🎭🎶❤️💙💜💛🧡💚

We had a blooming wonderful time at Kew Gardens last Tuesday! Colours everywhere and so much to explore. The children especially loved ‘the hive’ - an amazing sculpture that recreates the life inside a beehive. 🐝

If your child is beginning their school journey, our early years department at ECS is a wonderful place to start. Our Little Acorns (‘nursery’) and Acorns (‘reception’) put down deep roots and develop a creative curiosity in their learning together.

Four mornings in our nursery equates to 15 hours of early childcare funding. Get in touch with Mr Guy in the office if you would like to learn more about what our early years department could offer to your family. We’d love to meet you!
