Congratulations to all Univ crews on a fantastic Summer Eights 2026.
W1 secured Headship of the River, while M3 and W3 both won Blades. W3 also achieved the largest rise of any crew on the river, climbing an incredible 8 places across the week, while M3 rose 6 places, the biggest gain of any menโs crew.
There were strong performances throughout the boat club, with W2 gaining 3 places, W4 gaining 4 places, and the Beer Boat gaining 3 places. M1 finished 5th on the river after an exciting campaign.
Thank you to all rowers, coxes, coaches, and supporters for their commitment, determination, and enthusiasm throughout the week. What a result for Univ rowing!

On Thursday 21 May, we were delighted to welcome Univ alumnus Nick Robinson (1983, PPE), journalist and presenter on BBC Radio 4โs Today programme back to College for a fascinating discussion on the impartiality of broadcast news.
Thank you to Nick for sharing his insights and experiences, and to everyone who joined us and contributed to a lively and engaging conversation. It was wonderful to see so many members of the Univ community together for the event.
