“I have just received the Univ newsletter and it reminded me to thank you immensely for helping to organise my recent degree ceremony in May.
It was a wonderful day out for the family, my wife, grandma and baby daughter all had a wonderful time! None of them were able to attend my BA graduation, so being able to attend the MA graduation was really special. It is not often I have a full day out with my grandma and she found this day to be truly magical. She loved seeing Univ, she had a great time at the graduation and really enjoyed the lunch afterwards. It was a lovely day out and it is definitely a memory I will cherish for the rest of my life. Thank you again.”
-Thank you and all the best, from Tawfiq.

“I am leaving a legacy to Univ for two reasons. The first is to support the continuation of the tutorial system, which is expensive, but unsurpassed in its benefits for undergraduates. Looking back on my undergraduate years I am eternally grateful to the tutors who mentored and inspired me. From my time as Master, I know how many Univ students would say the same.
The second is to help the College provide material support for students - undergraduates and graduates alike - whose financial circumstances would otherwise preclude their taking full advantage of the education Univ provides. In recent years Univ has led the University in expanding equality of opportunity, while maintaining the highest standards of excellence. I am proud of its fine record and want it to continue.”
-Sir Ivor Crewe, Honorary Fellow and former Master of University College, Oxford (2008-2020)
