Roots for Life Nursery School, Thame

Today our Market Monitors headed out to the market to choose a selection of fruits and veg 🌈
We picked fruits and veg the children may not have seen in their whole form before, learning where they come from, how they grow, and what they look like before they reach our plates.
The children absolutely loved it – and we all learned so much 🌽

GINGERBREAD MAYHEM AT ROOTS TODAY!

Our little designers gave their gingerbread men full-on festive makeovers, sparkles, swirls and buttons 🍬
Each one ended up totally unique, absolutely adorable, and very proud of its new look! 😍

🥟 Samoosa Day at Roots! 🥟
Today was next-level exciting at nursery… we turned into tiny chefs! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

A HUGE thank you to Anam for coming in and showing the children the magic behind the perfect samoosa fold , who knew it was basically origami you can eat?! 😂

The children had full hands-on experience:
✨ scooping
✨ folding
✨ brushing

They absolutely LOVED learning how samosas are made, and even more so… eating them afterwards! They were delicious and the little faces said it all. 🤤🥰

It was fun and educational, something totally different exactly what we love at Roots! 🌈😍

We have some really, REALLY exciting news to share… 🎉

We’ve just submitted a planning application to grow Roots next year! 🌿✨ Our goal? To start welcoming 1-year-olds and more 2-year-olds, because the demand is huge, and we truly hate having to turn families away. 💛

Looking back to when we started in the Girl Guides Hut with just 13 children… and now, wow, we’re at 95 children on roll! 🤩 This next step feels BIG, and we are so excited to keep reaching for the sky. 🚀
