We loved welcoming prospective students at our Adult Education open event yesterday ❤️

Attendees were able to learn about our programmes designed specifically for adult learners, hear about GCSEs and Access to Higher Education, find out about apprenticeships, explore careers opportunities at the college and discover our learning for leisure courses.

There was also an opportunity to meet teachers from The Leys College and hear about our Electrical Installation and Carpentry courses.

Thank you to all those who supported this brilliant event.

Today our Legal T Level programme students celebrated the conclusion of a nine month project designed to give real life insight into the legal profession with Oxfordshire County Council.

The project, which began in October 2025, gives an enriched learning experience to students as they apply their legal knowledge to scenarios with expert guidance from the council's law and governance team.

As part of the project, students took part in their own mock trial in the Chamber at County Hall in Oxford earlier this year, where they presented a case to a panel of judges before receiving valuable feedback.

The project concluded today as the council visited the college to hear the students present their reflections on the essential skills it has taught them, with many mentioning how they had developed and grown in confidence.

Thank you to all those who supported this inspiring project.

It was fantastic to celebrate the end of the year yesterday, as our amazing Student Enrichment team gathered together for t-shirt signing, card making and cake ❤️

The afternoon was a great way for everyone to reflect on the year, share messages, and celebrate how far they’ve come.

It's great to be able to recognise their hard work, resilience and progress throughout the year!

We were delighted to hold a special ceremony last night for the graduation of our second cohort of Determined to Lead Oxford.

The cohort, who began the programme in October 2025, included 19 managerial delegates from the University of Oxford, who each received a certificate of completion and a badge as they joined the Activate Learning Alumni network.

Our trailblazing Determined to Lead programme enables middle-level managers to grow their knowledge, techniques and management skills, while working – an approach that helps students apply what they learn to their roles in real time.
