A new chapter is hatching at the Dragon ... 🐲🥚

We’re looking for a qualified Level 3 to join the team at Dragon School Hatchlings, our exciting new early years setting planned for Bardwell Road.

Building on the 30-year legacy of The Nursery in Lathbury Road, Hatchlings will be a warm, nurturing and inspiring place for our very youngest Dragons to learn, play and grow.

👋 Applications are welcome for full-time or part-time hours.

Help give our Dragon Hatchlings the very best start.

60 years on, the faces and fashions may have changed, but the tradition of sport at the Dragon remains. Do you recognise anyone?🐉

On 04 March 2027, the Dragon community will gather beneath the iconic aircraft of the Flight Gallery at the Science Museum, London, surrounded by some of humanity’s greatest achievements in innovation, exploration and ingenuity. ✈️🐉🎉

It is a fitting setting for us all to come together and celebrate a School whose enduring spirit of curiosity, adventure and ambition has shaped generations of children.

As our anniversary celebrations take flight, the evening will also support the School’s Transformational Bursary Programme, which has already given more than 125 children the opportunity to experience the Dragon.

🎉 Dragon Takes Flight promises to be a truly memorable evening, bringing together the energy, warmth and spirit of the Dragon community while celebrating our past and looking towards the next 150 years.

We look forward to sharing this very special chapter of the Dragon’s history with you.

As we get ready to welcome everyone back, we’re looking back at one of the School’s most iconic landmarks – our weathervane. 🌤️

Captured this August, this image offers a glimpse of the weathervane today, alongside a photograph from the front cover of the Draconian in Summer 1988, where the School motto, Arduus ad Solem, can be seen clearly.
