We’re delighted to introduce Agnes and Emma, our Under-Secretary Generals for Community for GlobalVoices 2026.

In their role, Agnes and Emma are focused on strengthening the wider delegate experience, from building links with schools and local partners to helping delegates feel welcomed, connected and involved throughout the conference weekend. They will also be overseeing our delegate essay competition, giving participants the chance to engage more deeply with this year’s theme: Diplomacy: Past, Present and Future.

Introducing another committee for GlobalVoices 2026… UNSC: the United Nations Security Council 🌍

At the heart of the most urgent questions in global diplomacy, UNSC challenges delegates to respond to crises where precedent, instability, and political reality all collide. This year, delegates will debate ceasefire frameworks and security guarantees in Ukraine, alongside the civil war and humanitarian catastrophe in Sudan, in a committee designed for delegates ready for fast-paced, high-stakes debate. 📜

Our next committee announcement for GlobalVoices 2026 is here… SOCHUM: the Social, Humanitarian, and Cultural Issues Committee 🌍

From human rights and social justice to culture, dignity, and the protection of vulnerable communities, SOCHUM brings delegates into some of the most urgent and thought-provoking conversations in international diplomacy. This year, delegates will tackle questions of cultural justice and labour abuse in critical mineral supply chains in a committee that is collaborative, accessible, and open to delegates of all experience levels. 📜

OGMUN SHSID 2026 🇨🇳

OG’s busy international calendar began with a brilliant week in Shanghai - from committee sessions and workshops at SHSID to exploring the city together afterwards. 🌆

Huge thank you to WELAND, Shanghai High School International Division, the student secretariat, Assistant Directors, and every delegate who made it such a special experience. ✨

The OG team had a fantastic time, and we’re already looking forward to being back in China this summer! ✈️
