On a hot day like today there's nothing better than a nice cool book to bring down the heat! 🥶❄️🧊 What are your favourite refrigerated reads?

As exams creep up for some of us, don't forget that the library also has a welfare section filled with lovely books for your mental health and wellbeing!

Looking for your next read? St Anne's supported Schwarzman Cultural Fellow Kae Tempest's newest book has landed at the library!

It's Trinity term and our students are working hard! 💪
But it's also super important to make sure we balance out hard work with rest and relaxation. 🧘‍♀️🎨📚 This Mental Health Awareness Week make sure you're taking the time to take care of yourself. Why not grab a leisure read from the book swap or spend some time at our relaxation station in the Hartland library?

Final reminder that our library spaces will be CLOSED between 18:00 Saturday and 06:00 Sunday this weekend so that our students can enjoy the lovely College ball!

We hope you all have a great time but don't forget to take everything you need out of the library before it closes!

Big congratulations to our honorary fellow Bernardine Evaristo who has been appointed as this year’s Visiting Professor of Creative Media. As part of the Professorship, she will give a talk about how her creativity was shaped by her origins in London this evening at the Sheldonian Theatre. If you're thinking of going, why not pick up one of her fantastic novels from the library to take with you?

The doors will close at 6pm on Saturday and be opened again at 6am on Sunday - please make sure not to leave anything in the library between those times!

Our very own Professor Simon Park is hosting a talk tomorrow discussing the shipwreck narratives in his book 'Wreckers: Disaster in the Age of Discovery'. We recently acquired a copy for the library to join Professor Park's other works in our Anne's Authors shelves!
