🎉 A fantastic start for the BFPA Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Forum!
The inaugural virtual meeting on 20th April 2026 brought together BFPA members and industry experts for an engaging and insight‑packed session focused on raising HSE standards across the fluid power sector.
Led by Chair Shaun Coetzer (EnerMech Ltd), the forum set out to create a collaborative space for sharing best practice and real‑world experience to improve HSE performance across the fluid power sector. Key highlights included an HSE update from guest speaker Chris Steel, sparking valuable discussion on workplace noise and compressed air systems, alongside insights into near‑miss reporting, industry data and sustainability support.
With excellent engagement and open knowledge‑sharing, the forum is already proving its value as a platform for real, industry‑wide improvement.
📅 The next meeting takes place on 23 July.
