We are now recruiting the next Secretary-General and Director General of the Oxford International Model United Nations conference! Every year, we welcome hundreds of delegates from the UK and across the world to discuss and debate pressing issues of international concern.

As Secretary-General and Director General, you will be responsible for delivering the 2026 edition of the conference by recruiting and leading the organising team. Organisation of the conference requires logistical, budgetary, and interpersonal skills, as well an understanding of the unique logistical requirements of a Model UN Conference.

Did you do MUN at school and you want to get back in the game? No clue what MUN is, but you like debating and International Relations? Whatever your level of experience, come along this Friday to our info session! Learn how to join the Oxford team and represent the University at conferences in the UK and abroad. For beginners, we will hold training sessions throughout term on how MUN works and debating skills.

Sign up to our event to hear Sam Daws, Tomoko Nishimoto, and Stephen Budgard, three former UN officials, talk about what it takes to have a career in the UN. The event will be a panel discussion followed by a Q&A with the audience and a drinks reception kindly provided by the DPIR.
