Sue Blunsdon, Singing Tuition

Sue Blunsdon, Singing Tuition Singing Tuition and Performance I've been a professional singing teacher and performer for over 30 years!

After graduating from The Birmingham Conservatoire with a background in Classical singing, I went on to pursue a career in Rock and Pop, thus embracing my love of all styles of music and developing an adaptable vocal technique. Together with my husband Ian, I set up Timeless Studios, which has been used by many bands/soloists/actors over the years, to record just about every kind of music and spoken word imaginable. Our duo Timeless Moment and band Timeless has used the Studio as a base for our own recording and writing and it provides a lovely environment for our Singing and Piano lessons. Apart from maintaining my private practice, I am a teacher with The Oxford School of Music and a peripatetic teacher at Chipping Norton School, Oxfordshire. Until recently, I taught singing and mentored bands at Towcester Rockschool. I have also been a peripatetic teacher with Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Service.

A stellar line-up brings the world’s largest classical music festival to a close. Tenor Stuart Skelton and charismatic Latvian accordionist Ksenija Sidorova join the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Sakari Oramo for a spectacular climax to the festival.

Make sure you wrap up warm when venturing outside. Breathing in the icy cold air, dries out and irritates the throat.

Lockdown again and I'm so grateful to be able to continue teaching remotely, as I have been doing since March. In that time, I've found out what works best teaching this way and how to create the very best learning experience for my pupils online. My pupils tell me that in times of such isolation and when so much music making has been put on hold, they really look forward to their lessons more than ever before. Together we can keep singing and raising our spirits.

I would like to wish all of my pupils a very Happy New Year! 2020 has been a particularly challenging years for us singers, so hopefully we can soon get back to making lots of music together in 2021. Meanwhile, remote lessons are going very well and term has begun again today. I look forward to seeing all of you over the course of this week.

The last half term of this academic year, is now well underway and I'm so pleased to find that my pupils have been doing lots of singing and practise, over the half term break. It's going to be a great half term. 🙂
