πŸŽ‰ Huge congratulations to the MCS class of 2026 on their outstanding success in this year’s A Levels!⁣
⁣
More than a quarter of pupils achieved three A*s or more and 25 secured all A*s. 97% of grades this year were awarded at A*-B, with 82% at A*-A and 43% at A*. The most common grade awarded to MCS pupils was A*, and 70% of the cohort secured at least three A*/A grades πŸŽ“βœ¨β£
⁣
These results follow months and years of effort and will see pupils move on to top universities in the UK and around the world. Their achievements extend well beyond the classroom and it is a privilege to celebrate today alongside artists and athletes, performers and players, coders and cricketers – and countless more! We could not be prouder of their achievements and wish them every success as they take their next step πŸ‘β£

We had a wonderful time visiting Mustardseed School and spending time with their pupils and staff. Here's a glimpse of some joyful dancing from the children. πŸ’šβ£

We look forward to sharing more from our visit soon.⁣

πŸŽ™οΈ A fantastic turnout at MCS for An Evening with James Naughtie, as the renowned broadcaster, journalist and author joined BBC correspondent Rob Watson (OW 1979) in conversation about his remarkable career.

A huge thank you to James for joining us and sharing his fascinating stories and insights, and to Rob for being such a brilliant host. It was a wonderful evening, and we hope to continue the conversation at MCS again soon!

β˜€οΈπŸ” Physics in action! Our Second Form pupils took their learning outside yesterday, heading to the School Field with pinhole cameras they had made in class to observe the College Tower.⁣
⁣
The bright sunshine and the striking array of pinnacles on the tower roof created the perfect conditions for pupils to see an inverted image projected inside their homemade camera obscuras. A fantastic hands on way to bring the science of light to life! πŸ“·βœ¨
