Super excited for tonight’s premiere of Sherlock and the Napoleon of Crime – our summer production at the Oxford Playhouse 🎭
Combining characters and plotlines from a number of Conan Doyle’s beloved short stories, the tale unfolds at breakneck speed—from an Alhambra music hall to the top of Tower Bridge. With original songs, thrilling dance and fight choreography, and a chase sequence involving bicycles, hansom cabs, and a steamboat, it promises to be quite the adventure ✨
Here’s a clip of our talented team in action.
Playing Thursday 25 to Saturday 27 June, with tickets available at oxfordplayhouse.com

What happens when pupils and parents join forces on the tennis court? 🎾
Fourteen parent and pupil pairs took part in the inaugural MCS U12 & U13 Parent & Child Doubles Event on Saturday. After a series of closely contested matches, the Fazels and the Erasus were crowned champions. 🏆
It was wonderful to see our grass courts filled with pupils, parents and plenty of support throughout the afternoon.

🏏 Shout out to MCS cricketing legend James Coles (OW 2022), who has been called up by England for their T20 series against India next month – his first appearance on the international stage. 🇬🇧
James hit the headlines earlier this year after signing with London Spirit for The Hundred. ⭐
Inspiring news for our current players, who are enjoying a great season of cricket – including a brilliant match today against the MCC. 👏🏽

We’ve had a glorious Founders’ Day in and around Oxford, raising money for Mustardseed School, our partner school in Uganda. Opened in 2022, Mustardseed provides an inspirational and practical education for young children and now educates over 180.
It's a cause close to our hearts, and MCS pupils have walked up to 11 miles through some of the city’s most scenic spots today, including Port Meadow, Mesopotamia and Magdalen College grounds. Thank you for every step 🚶♀️🚶♂️
If you would like to support Mustardseed, please visit our fundraising page 👉
