The Staff vs Parents Cricket Match took place on Sunday and was a great success, filled with fun and laughter. It was wonderful to see so many families come together and enjoy an afternoon of excellent cricket, sunshine and great company.
The staff demonstrated that the many hours they spend coaching have clearly paid off, enabling them to secure a convincing victory on the day. Fortunately, the result did little to dampen spirits, as the real winner was the sense of community enjoyed by everyone involved. Thank you to all who took part and those who also came along to support.

The boys also dusted off their singing skills as they practiced ‘un homme debout’ by

What a fantastic cricket season it’s been so far, with plenty of glorious sunshine and some wonderful matches enjoyed by all the boys from Year 3 upwards.
On Saturday, the 1st XI enjoyed an excellent match against . Of particular note was Rex HH, captain of cricket, who produced a magnificent innings of 114 not out. Huge congratulations to Rex.
We hope you enjoy this wow moment from our recent charity concert held in the beautiful church of St Mary the Virgin in Weston-on-the-Green. We were delighted to raise much needed funds for by performing beautiful music to a large, receptive audience - a Friday evening well-spent indeed.
The choir was in excellent voice and the organ was put through its paces brilliantly by Dr Price. A local resident commented that it was a ‘great joy’ to hear the ‘beautiful rousing voices of Summer Fields’ and hopes for a return visit, which we aim to facilitate in due course.
This marked the first in a series of three summer concerts taking place this term. Join us for more fine music on Saturday 6 June at St Giles and Monday 8 June at Keble College. We hope to see many of you there.
