Thanks all!

Good morning dancers and families! Today is the last day of the Spring Term and sadly Miss Netta is unwell and I have had to cancel those classes at Saint Mary and John School today as there was no time to arrange any cover. She sends her love to the children and we will make up the missed lessons, next term.
All other classes are on as usual today at Spires Academy with Miss Chiara, and at St Andrew’s School with Miss Lisia, myself and Mr Nyroy.
Tonight the older Youth Ballet dancers are performing at Pegasus Theatre at the kind invitation of Joelle Pappas - the show, What the Dove Said to the Moon, is a joint production between Oxford Youth Dance and Tac au Tac, Joelle’s own company, and if anyone wanted to come to support, tickets should be available online through the Pegasus website.
Have a lovely Easter and a good rest - even the GCSE and A-level girls! Or perhaps especially you!
With love from us all at EOSB ❤️

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you had a lovely break, if you got one, and that the dancers are all looking forward to getting back to class. I recommend we all wear woolly layers this week!
There have been a few timetable changes for this term, of time and/or venue, principally affecting Tuesday/Friday classes, so PLEASE LOOK AT THE UPDATED TIMETABLE ON THE WEBSITE…. I sent out emails last week but I know some mail apps will send them to spam, and also a few people seem always to slip through my email net, hard as I try to keep mailing lists up to date. Apologies if this is you and please do email me, so I can put it right.

I look forward to another happy term of classes with the lovely EOSB dancers of all ages…..
See you soon and very best wishes to you all from Penny CB

I hope that our numerous beautiful dancers who also did their GCSEs this summer will have got the results they hoped for today. They are a remarkable group and deserve every success.
I’m delighted to say that the three A-level students who kept up their classes all last term and danced in the show in July ALL got places at top universities - one for Physics and two for Medicine! Congratulations Sasha, Mira and Kate!
I send love to all the lovely students, and look forward to seeing you again soon -

This was the final tableau of our “senior” production of “Aurora’s Wedding” on Sunday 9th. Thank you Laura!
Huge thanks to the beautiful dancers, dedicated colleagues and amazingly supportive parents, without whom this could not have happened.
Dancers, enjoy some rest, but there will be summer classes so look out for messages - or message me!
More photos will follow…..
Love, Penny CB

Hello ballet family - I am just seeing if this gets uploaded as there have been problems!

28/04/2023

Hello dancers (and their families); I hope everyone had a great break and has settled back into the new term. This is just to say that classes are on all this weekend and next, including the Bank Holidays on 1 and 8 May. It is just too early in the term to be cancelling classes and with performances in July we need to keep up the momentum. I just sent emails about these so if you did not receive one please email me.
See you in class!
