Huge congratulations to Sam Sherburn for completing the Helsinki Marathon and raising £1,516 for Teach a Child - Africa! 🏅 His fundraising will fund around 3 years of secondary education for one child — what an incredible impact. Selection of up to 65 new TaC beneficiaries ongoing right now. All applicants are interviewed and transparently ranked against academic, social and economic indicators. Unannounced home visits of those shortlisted are carried out by our volunteers to verify the obtained information.

The demand for our bursaries is bigger than ever. Young talents come from far, most of them partial or total orphans, accompanied by their guardians, teachers and sometimes well-wishers.

A scholarship by TaC covers three years of secondary school tuition, uniform, books and a modest pocket money. Message us if you wish to support a talent in Western Kenya.
Education for life!

Every year, the beneficiaries and volunteers of Teach a Child Africa gather for 3-4 days at the end of December to check on everyone’s wellbeing, to encourage peer exchange and to openly discuss important topics for schoolgoing teens. The TaC family is getting stronger every year!
We thank our loyal supporters who make this possible! This year, we were even able to provide new laptops to those graduates who made it to university after secondary school.
